Monster Man contest voting!

The entries for the Monster Man contest are in! Thank you all to everyone who voted, and thank you to our sponsors: Oakbound Studio, Otherworld Miniatures, Chaotic Henchmen with Robert Pinnell, and Grant Howitt!

Now that we've collected all of the entries, it's time for you to vote. Here's how it works:

I have listed all the entries, with accompanying links, here. What I would like you to do is read them and then vote for your three favourites. You can vote by any of the following methods:
  • Leave a comment on this page identifying your three choices.
  • Send me an email (gonzohistory AT gmail)
  • Tweet about it -- I'm @gonzohistory
Or, hey, if you know another way to get in touch with me, do that. I will add your votes to the spreadsheet.

You cannot vote for yourself -- or rather, I assume that everyone already votes for themselves, so it's a wash and you might as well spend your votes on other people.

Anyone is eligible to vote. Tell your friends! Tell your grandma! Ask them to listen to my podcast while they're at it.

The last day of voting is Wednesday, December 13! After that I will take the eight highest-scoring entries and send them to the panel of judges to be ranked.

But enough of me talking! Here is the list of monsters. Click on each monster's name to be taken to its page -- that could be the original page where it was posted, or a page I created if it was sent to me.

  15. This was miserable--reducing all these wonderful monsters to just three. However, I have persevered: The D.F.O., the Koosh Lion, and the Glowber-Tuttle are my choices. Congrats to all the entrants, though. It looks like tremendous fun was had. Thanks to James for putting on the contest and for your fine podcast!

  16. So much goodness, very tricky deciding on the final 3.

    Fuggag, Great Wight Shark, Slathax.

  17. Jellybender (I'm going to use it in my game now, so that has to be a vote)
    Afelyn (great fairy-story atmosphere)
Cockatrix (sounds like fun inflicting this on my players)

But all of these entries were fun to read, it's hard to pick out just three. Thanks for the contest!

  22. This is so difficult to choose that I've been flicking backwards and forwards for days but I think it's time to just make a decision.

Absolute favourite is the Afelyn for the background. Then I will have to go for Glowber-Tuttle for the insanity. And I have to vote for the Kafka too because Metamorphosis. If I could vote for more I would!
